Senior Leaders

As Lead Pastor of New Day Christian Centre (New Day), my wife, Maria and I, extend warm salutations to you, your family and friends.

As you browse our site, our hope is that you will make a decision to visit us at our place of worship. Our aim at New Day is for your time with us to be for the betterment of your spirit, mind and body.

New Day officially launched on 1 July 2018 and our ministry mission is derived from II Corinthians 5:17, ... if any man be in Christ, they are a new Creation. We are made brand new by His grace and by the power of His forgiveness of our sins so that we can live our life anew for Jesus Christ.

We are a friendly church for you and your family. We preach Christ and Him crucified for our sins. May you be changed by The Word of God working in your life.

We have areas for growth in your walk with Christ through our Bible Study on 1st Sundays and via our social media platforms. We have an amazing outreach community initiative called F.L.O.W.S (faithfully loving others while serving). It is our pleasure to serve you.

Minister Carl Barge

As a Minister in Training, I have had the opportunity to demonstrate a capacity of discipleship, faith, leadership, humble service, ministry of the word, pastoral care and spiritual development.

I have over 12 years of experience within the Drug & Alcohol field, working extensively within the UK Prison System. I am a Lecturer of counseling & Psychotherapy at the Counselling & Psychotherapy Training Academy (CPTA) as well as clinIcal supervIsor in private practice working with individuals and groups. I am also an Accredited Member of the National Counselling Society (NCS) and Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP).

Through the promotion of Christian principles, values and beliefs, the expression of faith through prayer for family, the church body and the wider community, I have experienced a profound sense of calling to the Ministry of Christ to fulfil what has been planted in my heart by the Holy Spirit.

I am inspired and driven by Joshua 1:9, "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.

My purpose and passion is helping others to realise and achieve the new life that Christ Jesus has desired for those who believe in His death, burial and resurrection.
